I just got back from Girlz Camp. It was so much fun! The first day we went on a hike around a lake. It was about 2-3 miles and it took us about 2 hours. After we went swimming in the lake, it was fun...

I made a lot of friends there; great friends. They were all so fun, and nice! I had a blast...

It was a wonderful experience, I can't wait 'till next year!!!

Eight. Eight more days of school. Only eight. I wonder how this year went so fast... OH, WELL! I'm glad it's over! School can get on your nerves, especially when you are longing for summer break. No more waking up early to catch the bus, no more Math first thing in the morning when your brain is still asleep, and no more waiting for school to be out. None. Zip-Tada. It's overwelming.

In Three Months...

In 3 Months, I will be a Young Women. OUT OF PRIMARY FINALLY! I am turning 12 on August 25, and that is a big year for me. I am going to start baby-sitting (I already am, but not very much), I will ge able to wear make-up (!!!), and I am leaving primary to go to Young Womens. I am so excited! Lucky for me, I get to go to the Young Women's camp, which sounds so much fun. I can't wait...

New Haircut

On monday I had a haircut. I wasn't so sure about having a haircut, so I just said that she could cut my bangs, give me layers, and thin out my hair.

So this is what it turned out looking like, except that I had my hair brushed back so you can't see it as well, and it didn't straighten well that day.

My 1st Funeral

Yesterday I had my first funeral. It was actually for my neighbor's fish, because they went on a trip to Florida and gave us Bubbles to take care of until they got back. Well, when you have a goldfish, you have to understand that you can't keep it alive forever. So when it died, my mom felt bad and said she was going to buy them a new one. I don't think she really needs to because it probably would have died if they stayed and took care of it, but she insisted. Well, anyway, we buried him in our backyard and gave him like a little grave and had a funeral for Bubbles (we probably shouldn't have had one because Josh cried for a half an hour later!).

Sorry about all this Aubrey!!! We will buy you a new fish!!! Sorry!!! (P.S. You can take him to your backyard and bury him by Lily if you want to.)

Spring brings Spring Cleaning

On a day like today, you can tell that it is Spring.But with Spring, you always have Spring Cleaning, and since it is Spring Break this week, my mom decided that it would be best to do it today, while everyone is here (except dad).

But after hours of hard and trying (hee hee), it finally paid off.

My Party

This Friday I had a party with all my friends from church and school, but only 5 showed up. My party started at 4:00pm, and since I get out of school at 3:55pm, I thought that it would be a good time to have the party start then. Well, of course when you have somewhere to go and you have only like 5 minutes, something has to go wrong to make you late. Well, my bus broke down for the first time and it took about 30 minutes of silence (she threatened to take us downtown to have our parents come and get us), the miracle bus finally came. When we got on the bus we were right next to the school so it took us 5 minutes to get home. By that time it was 4:35pm and I was about a half an hour late to my own party!!!
I had three people come home with me so there were already two people there waiting for us with lots of snacks and drinks. We pigged out for a while and then went downstairs to talk and play with each other. My mom had laid out some things for a necklace and we talked and made our jewelry for about another half an hour. Then we all started to do a pillow fight and to tackle each other, which was hard because we were laughing to hard to even defend ourselves. We calmed down after a while and kept talking and laughing and making jokes.
When it was time for everyone to go home (9:00pm), I had two people stay the night with me. We stayed up until about 2:30am and then finally went to sleep, after a night of laughing, texting, and talking. My friend Maysen went home about 9:30am and my other friend Miranda went home about 11:30am. We had so much fun, and I hope I can do it again soon, like maybe for my twelfth birthday. You should try it.

Sleep-Over

I am at a sleepover at my friends house and we are all goofing off. We are having so much fun! First we went to a ice skating rink for like 2 1/2 hours. Then we came back and we are all taking turns on her computer. It is my turn right now and I have to go, so I'll right about it LATER!

Strep

Well it turns out that my sore throat was more than that.

My mom set up a doctor's appointment for me to have my throat checked. After a exam they came back and told me that I have strep throat. They gave me a prescription and they told me I could go back to school on Monday. I have to take these 2 1/2 teaspoons of med. twice a day until the seventh. At least I get to stay home and paint my nails, watch TV, and eat cake!

I haven't been able to do any posts lately, so sorry about that. I stayed home sick today because I had a HORRIBLE sore throat. It hurts so bad that it is hard to swallow.

Anyway, on Saturdays I always have gymnastics from 12:00-1:00. And this Saturday I have a girl scout booth thing to do at 12:00. I don't know which one to pick. I want to do gymnastics because this would be the last class that I could do there, since I am in the highest level they have. But I want to do the girl scouts booth because this would be my very first one, and if I didn't do it, then I would have to wait another year to have that chance. I need help deciding what to do. Tell me what you think I should do.

Snow Day(s)!

Sorry I haven't written in a while. I have nothing to talk about anymore. Nothing new is going on in school, nothing new is going on at home and I am just bored. Today and yesterday we had snow days. Yesterday it snowed alot so we got to stay home, no biggy. But TODAY! it snowed 2-5 inches, and then we had freezing rain, then it snowed a bit more, then we had freezing rain, and then it snow just a bit more. Our whole house is coated in ice. It is amazing. SNOW DAY!! (again)

Oh, I'm turning into my DAD!

When my dad was a kid and had braces, he had a loose tooth. Well, turns out that tooth was really loose. The tooth finally came out, but the problem was, he still had braces. So that tooth hung there (stuck to the bracket) for a while.

I had a loose tooth. I thought it would take atleast 2 more months to finally get to the really loose stage. After school yesterday it was bugging me, so I tugged and tugged on it. Turns out, it was REALLY loose, and it came out. So now I have a tooth stuck to my bracket and I can't get it off. Luckily, I have an Orthadonist appointment today. I don't know what would have happened, or how long it would have taken to get it off if I wasn't so lucky!

The trip to South Carolina

This week we (my family) traveled in our car to South Carolina to visit Dad's brother. It was a ten hour trip. How did I survive? I don't really know. Most of the time Mom was asleep so she had it easy, and same with Isaac. The rest of us suffured with bordem (well, except Dad, he was driving). I don't have the pictures downloaded yet, but I will show you as soon as I can.

Young Womens

This year I am turning 12.

Last night was our tithing settlement. The bishop asked me, my mom, and my dad what our personal goals were for '09. My goal was to keep all A's.

He also asked us (like every other bishop would) if we had payed a full tithe. I said I had.

He also asked me when I would be going to Young Womens. I said this year.

He was amazed to find out that I had all A's, had payed a full tithe, and I was going to Young Womens soon. I don't really understand what was so exciting about all this, but atleast he was happy!

Christmas Is Here!!!

Christmas is ALREADY here! I can not believe it came so fast. It's like I have been asleep for months, not aware of the time flying past me.

Anyway, for Christmas (from Santa), I got a video camera/camera/MP3 player, 2 shirts for school, 2 CD's (one is David Archuleta, the other is some religious songs), candy, a pack of chap-stick, an I SPY puzzle (only 63 pieces; easy), some erasers, a new straightener, a locket that came with locket earrings, and some pajamas.

I have decided that I need to write more posts. I know not many people come to look at my blog but I know that the ones who do are always waiting for something new. I haven't written in about nineteen days! I need something new.

Christmas is in four days.

I have decided what I am getting my family for Christmas. (MOM DO NOT READ ANY FARTHER!!!!!!! DAD YOU TOO!!!!!!!) The kids are all getting some time with me. Mom and Dad are getting something I am going to do for them.

For Isaac I am going to spend an hour playing with and spoiling him.

For Ella I am going to let her sleep with me for 2 days straight.

For Josh I am going to let him wear any of my pajamas for 1 week.

For Mom I am going to prepare dinner for the family for 2 days.

For Dad I am going to do everything he says for 1 day-I mean EVERYTHING-and see if he notices a difference.

They all get to choose when I do this for them. I hope they all like their gifts!

And The Season is Finally Here!

Tis the season to to be jolly, fa la la la la la la la la! Tis the season to decorate your house, fa la la la la la la la la! Our family has finally gotten out the merry christmas decorations and put up the (3) trees! Here's what is looks like so far:

The second tree is our family tree and the last tree is our kid's tree with all of our ornaments we made on it. I think our christmas decoration mission is acomplished? What do you think?

Another Piece of Goodness

I have had a request to tell another funny story. OK, here how it goes.

Our family was watching Dancing with the Stars one Saturday night, and my mom was giving me a lesson on how the ladies were technically naked and how we don't ever dress like them.

I was in Sunbeams and told my teacher everything. So when it was time to go there for sunbeams, I told my teacher all about last night.

When my mom came back to pick me up after her class was over, my teacher walked up to her and said:
"Madison told me you guys were watching naked ladies dancing on TV."
Fortunately, the BISHOP'S WIFE was my mom's friend and knew to ask before she believed what I said. :)

Funny Stories

OK, Mom and Ella walk into a shoe store. Ella walks right up to these "BEAUTIFUL" pink boots.

Ella-"MOM, I was BORN to wear these SHOES!"

How Ella learned talk like this I do not know, but really, whoever did, MAN, they are busted! Just Kidding!

A neighbor is baby-sitting Ella and Josh. Ella had just taken a nap and was being very cute and cuddly. Our neighbor was holding Ella.

Neighbor-"Ella you're so pretty!"

Just then Josh walks up to her and sais:

Josh-"She has brains too!" =D

Ella was 4 years old when this happened. One day Ella came downstairs and sat on the floor vent to warm up. A few minutes later Ella comes up to mom and sais:

Ella-"Mom, feel me, I'm smokin' hot!" =D

Dad was puuting Josh to bed. Josh was about 2. Dad gave Josh and kiss, pulled up the blanket, and said good-night. As he was leaving Josh sat up.

Josh-"Cookie?"

Dad-"No Josh, go to sleep."

A second passed, as Josh got a very queer look on his face, and sweetly smiled.

Josh-"Birthday cake?"

Dad couldn't control his laughter. They laughed together until dad could finally pull himself together and say good-night.

Brace Face and Metal Mouth

Today was my big day, I got braces!
My appointment was a 9:00AM, so I had to hurry. First I got up and got ready, then went to the building they work at. Then I got to choose the color braces I want. I got light pink color. Then, my favorite part, I got to go with my mom to get a milkshake. Then right after I had to go to school, because I couldn't convince my mom to let me stay home and watch the wonderous T.V! I am not happy.

Twilight

So I just finished Twilight and am on New Moon(the second book of the series). Twilight is an amazing book and I recommend it to ANYONE who likes adventure. Don't worry, its not boring.
I think this has been the best book I have read ever. READ IT!

Dance Class

So I started a dance class. In the classes we learn about African culture. Culture as in their art, dance, etc. It started Monday, and ends Friday, and is 4 hours a day. We have had lots of fun. Our teacher studies African culture and is VERY good at dancing!

We have learned many dances, but my favorite has got to be the traveling dance. It has many, many different moves in it. I have become an expert. (Atleast I think.)

I've had alot of fun and am excited for tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Dental Care

Do you see my CRAZY teeth? Ya, well I am going to get braces in 12 days. The orthodontist said my teeth were not growing in straight, and that there was not enough room in my top pallet. So first I had to get spacers, which are little blue rubber-bands that go between your back teeth. Second, I got an expander, which expands your top pallet. That will hopefully make room for some teeth to grow in. Then I will get braces. You know what those are for.

Ok, so I just got fake nails! And you know how fake nails are "the big thing" this year.

My aunt and uncle came and took us to the mall. My mom said we each had $10.oo to spend. I tried to save my money for claires. We went and I found this thing that shines up your nails for $2.oo! Then I found the fake nails for $4.oo. I had $4.oo left to spend. I was looking around and I found really cute earrings for $3.oo. They are blue frogs that are smiling, and they are REALLY shiny! My earrings are dangly earrings. So, now I am all set for the summer!!!! Hopefully!

Oh ya, and we went to GATTITOWN!

Best of Friends

This is me and Sami. Sami is my BESTEST, BESTEST friend ever. Although we have known each other for only 3 yrs, we couldn't get better friends than we are now. 3 years ago, we both lived in Utah, and played almost EVERY day! But after 2 yrs, things happened. Sami's Paka got cancer. My dad found a better job in KY. My dad didn't like his job in Utah. Him and Mom decided to move. We moved. Sami's family was miserable. They moved to Texas to be with their Paka. He died. Everything was going the wrong way until last Spring Break. MY FAMILY WENT TO VISIT THEM IN TEXAS!!!!! We did everything we could in 5 days. Our hearts were broken when we left. Well, at least we left some good memories!
